Chapter 11 overview

Patera takes the action into the island's industrial underside. The chapter runs through the factory, the puppet encounters and the last lens puzzle before dropping into the mines for the Irene fight. It is a darker, tighter stretch after the open spaces of Parallel Paths.

The last lens and the petrified fights

The Last Lens subchapter is the payoff for the beam mechanics: align the lens sequence to open the way. In the Bowels of the Mechanism, Light Concentrate becomes a combat tool against the petrified soldiers, burning them instead of just avoiding them. Save Focus for the clustered fights and use the sphere modes to open shortcuts.

Irene boss fight: three phases

Irene is the chapter boss with three health bars. The phase order is sword, then dagger, then dagger plus stealth. The sword phase is the most readable, the dagger phase punishes slow parries, and the stealth phase mixes the fight with the game's hide mechanics. Keep your distance in the stealth phase and strike when the pattern opens.

Missables and trophy notes

The collectibles are safe through chapter select. For trophies, sources split on They Were People (destroy 100 petrified) and Refraction (burn creatures with Light Concentrate 10 times): gamingpromax marks them missable in this chapter, while keengamer's full list says only Like a Warrior is truly unrecoverable. This page does not pick a side; just keep using Light Concentrate and you cover both cases.

Chapter 12, Fading Light, follows with the Minos boss, who is not the final boss: Asterion and the Minotaur wait in Chapter 13.

FAQ

Does Chapter 11 have any Blades?

No. This chapter is 3 Artefacts and 2 Charms only. The Blade hunt ended with the Xiphos in Chapter 10.

What are the collectibles in Chapter 11?

Olden Abacus, Burnt Mosaic and Weasel Foot Artefacts, plus Arm Band 5 and Bracelet 5 Charms.

How do I beat Irene?

The fight has three phases with three health bars: sword, then dagger, then dagger with stealth. Match her weapon: parry the sword phase, watch for the faster dagger, and stay alert in the stealth phase.

Are any Chapter 11 trophies missable?

Guides disagree. One source marks They Were People and Refraction as missable in this chapter; another says only Like a Warrior is truly unrecoverable. Treat both as worth watching for rather than permanent locks.
