No difficulty trophies. Collect everything during a normal run, then use chapter select to mop up anything missed, progress is saved outside chapters.

What the trophy list tells you about the game

Resonance's trophy list is a roadmap in disguise. It reveals the five collectible categories (Relics, Blades, Charms, Theseus Echoes, and the six mastery branches), the full enemy roster (Archers, Brutes, Corrupted, Petrified and the Creature), and the core combat verbs, parrying, critical strikes, throwables, Focus attacks and ledge kills. Crucially, there are no difficulty-related trophies, and the list is tuned for a single playthrough: collect as you go, then use chapter select to clean up.

Minoan frescoes and gold ornamentation
The collectible categories map directly to the island's lore.
Sphere light puzzle
Light puzzles often hide Artifacts and Charms.

Collectible trophies, how to approach them

The five collectible trophies are the meat of the platinum. Chapter select makes them safe, but smart habits save cleanup time:

  • Hoarder (all Relics): 35 Artifacts split between Relics of the Present and Relics of the Past. Many sit just off the main route in side caves, ruins and behind optional puzzles. Chapter 3 alone holds 6 Artifacts.
  • Plunderer (all Blades): 7 Blades recovered from Heroes' Graves. The first, the Rusty Sword, unlocks automatically in Chapter 1 training. The final base Blade is found in Chapter 10 (Daedalus' Workshop). The Heritage Pack DLC adds a 9th blade location outside the base 7.
  • Superstitious (all Charms): 25 Charms across five sub-types (Beads, Arm Bands, Bracelets, Trinkets, Seals). Chests are the main source; each Charm also visibly equips on Sophia.
  • In the Name of my Kin (all Theseus Echoes): 5 Pierced Coins, all in Chapters 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10, interact with the altar at each location.
  • Like a Warrior (6 mastery branches): spend Resonance Points to unlock all six branches. Guides report needing 165 of roughly 200 Resonance Points.

Combat trophies, step by step

TrophyHow to farm it
Returning the FavorAfter an enemy drops a knife, stand close to an Archer and throw it.
Cannon FodderWhile a Brute is raging (red attacks), lure it into swinging at soldiers, it kills its own teammates.
Inherited BrutalityFocus Attack unlocks in Chapter 4. Weaken 4 enemies, then trigger the AOE to kill them together.
UntouchableParry 6 attacks in a row against any enemy or group, chain them without getting hit.
Excessive ForceWhen a Corrupted grabs you, use Focus Attack to break free.
AdaptableAfter finding all Blades, get at least one kill with each sword.
No Holds BarredThrow bottles and other throwables to stun enemies, 20 total, accumulative.
OverboardKick 20 enemies off cliffs or high platforms. Start early; every ledge counts.
They Were PeopleDestroy 100 Petrified with light. Most appear in Chapter 13, but you can begin in mid-game chapters.
Sharp Enough for You?Stun an enemy (parry or throwable), then kill with a dagger critical strike, 25 times.
Skilled ManeuverUnlock Echo's Return, grab an enemy and throw the body into two others to stun all three at once.
RefractionDuring the Chapter 13 creature fight, burn the Creature 10 times with the concentrated light beam.
BaitfishCrouch-walk slowly past Petrified, then speed up away from a group so at least 20 chase you, and stop before they kill you.

Event trophies & easy misses

  • Sea You Later!, at the start of Chapter 3, go to the far left of the beach and help the turtle into the water. Easy to walk past.
  • Theater Enthusiast, while sneaking through the carnival in Chapter 2, stop and watch the entire puppet show before moving on.
  • Close Call, survive 5 Creature chase encounters "by a hair's breadth" (escape as it's about to catch you).
  • Unpredictable, jump over 25 gaps while the Creature is chasing you to make it lose your trail. These usually happen naturally in mid-to-late chapters.

Platinum difficulty verdict

PowerPyx and KeeGamer both call the trophy hunt straightforward, no difficulty trophies, and collectibles are recoverable via chapter select. Mortismal's 100% review agrees: "As 100% goes, this is a very straightforward and easy game to 100%... run through the story once, go back to the chapters, and grab the things you missed." The main friction is the combat trophies (parry chains, 25 critical strikes) if you're playing on a high difficulty, drop to an easier setting for the grind if needed.

One-run platinum roadmap

  1. Play on any difficulty; collect Relics, Charms and Echoes as you pass them (Chapter 3, 5 and 7 are the dense ones).
  2. Grab every Blade from Heroes' Graves, first one is automatic in Chapter 1, last base one in Chapter 10.
  3. Farm combat trophies opportunistically: throwables, ledge kicks, parry chains and crits.
  4. Watch the Ch.2 puppet show and help the Ch.3 turtle.
  5. After the ending, use chapter select to mop up anything missing, the game shows what's left per chapter.
  6. Buy all six mastery branches with Resonance Points (reported 165 of ~200).
