The two things people mix up
Searching for a Resonance collector's edition turns up two completely different products, and shops do not always make the difference obvious. One is a physical box of merchandise. The other is a few dollars of in-game content. If you only remember one thing from this page, make it the table below.
| Collector's Box | Heritage Pack | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Physical merchandise box | Digital DLC |
| Contents | Figurine, SteelBook, exclusive art prints | Minoan Sword, Alec's Pendant, digital artbook |
| Includes the game? | Check the specific listing before buying | No — you still need the base game |
| Where | IGN Store | PlayStation Store, Steam, Xbox Store |
| Price | Varies by retailer stock | $3.99 |

What is actually in the Collector's Box
Focus Entertainment described the box as featuring a figurine, a SteelBook and exclusive art prints. That is the full contents list — there is no soundtrack disc, no artbook and no in-game code mentioned in the official description. If a listing promises more than those three things, it is either a bundle from that specific retailer or something that is not the official box.
The SteelBook is the part most people care about, because the standard release ships in an ordinary case. Art prints are the second draw and match the game's Minoan setting — the same imagery used across the in-game frescoes and the Collector's Box marketing.
The Heritage Pack is a separate purchase
The Heritage Pack costs $3.99 and is digital only. It adds the Minoan Sword, Alec's Pendant and an exclusive digital artbook. It is the same pack on every platform, and it is not included in the Collector's Box unless a specific listing says otherwise.
Whether it is worth it depends on how much you care about the artbook. The sword and pendant are collection pieces rather than anything that changes how combat plays out — the game's own Blade system is where the meaningful weapon variety lives.
Availability and the community complaint
The box was sold through a single retailer, which is where most of the frustration in the community comes from: buyers outside that retailer's shipping regions had a much harder time, and stock was limited from the start. If you are looking for one now, expect to pay above the original price, and check the listing carefully for whether the game is included.
There is no deluxe or ultimate edition of the game itself. On PC and console the base game is the only edition, so "collector's edition" in a listing almost always means the physical box.
Collector's edition questions
Does Resonance have a collector's edition?
Yes — the Collector's Box, announced by Focus Entertainment and sold through IGN Store. It is a physical product and does not include the game itself unless the listing says so, so check before buying.
What is in the Collector's Box?
A figurine, a SteelBook case and exclusive art prints. Those three items are the whole contents; there is no artbook or soundtrack in the box beyond the prints.
Is the Heritage Pack the same thing?
No. The Heritage Pack is a $3.99 digital DLC that adds the Minoan Sword, Alec's Pendant and a digital artbook to your save. The Collector's Box is physical merchandise.
Is there a deluxe or ultimate edition of the game?
No. The game itself ships as one edition on PC and console. The only paid extras are the Heritage Pack DLC and the physical Collector's Box.
Why are people unhappy about the Collector's Box?
The main complaints in the community have been about stock and regional availability rather than the contents — the box sold through a single retailer, so buyers outside its shipping regions had a harder time.
